Mixed Media Art Gallery
It never occurred to me that I can draw let alone paint so when I rediscovered my creativity at 45 it was like a veil lifted for me and I suddenly saw what had been staring me in the face all along. My creativity was patiently waiting for me to recognize its presence in my life.
This is a collection of my early work. I am indebted to a number of teachers for helping me awaken the artist within. My gratitude goes out to Lucy Roman for opening the doors to the world of art for me, Martina Anagnoustou for making me realize that I can draw, Flora Bowley for introducing me to the world of intuitive painting, Kelly Rae Roberts for showing me how to paint my first portraits and teaching me all about mixed media art, Ali Amr for taking me a few steps further with his wonderfully patient approach to classical painting, Annamieka Hopps Davidson for helping me dive into my art, Nicholas Wilton and his team at the Creative Visionary Program (CVP) for teaching me the principles of art and design and to Alice Sheridan for her amazing support and practical solutions for my life as an artist.
