+ Do I have to be an artist or know how to paint or draw to join this class?
Not at all! This class is suitable for all levels, particularly beginners.
+ I’ve never taken an online class before. Can you tell me how this works?
There are 6 lessons in this course. Everyday for 6 days, you will receive one lesson via email with a link to the class content. Please add hello@sarakabariti.com to your contacts to ensure the lessons safely arrive straight into your inbox and avoid going into your spam/promotions folder.
+ How much time will this course need?
You will need a week to go through the lessons. However, this is a self-paced class so you can fit them into a time frame that works for you from the comfort of your home wherever you are in the world! Remember, you have lifetime access to the lessons.
+ How much space do I need in my home for painting?
As we will be working on small substrates in this course all you really need is a desk or even your kitchen table.
+ What materials do I need for this course?
I provide a list of my favourit art supplies that you can download once you enroll in the course. However, you don't need to buy a lot of art supplies for this course. I suggest you have a look around your home and find what art materials you already have.
+ What medium will be using in this mixed media class?
I will be using mostly acrylic paints in this class as I find it works best for mixed media art. I'll also be using waterbased crayons, pens, pencils and collage papers.
+ Can I tell my friends to join?
Yes! Ask them to sign up for the class by filling out the registration found at the top of this page so that the lessons arrive safely straight into their own inbox.
+ Is this class suitable for children?
No. This course is more suited for adults 18 years old and above.
+ I’ve never ever painted can I still join this class?
YES of course! This class is suitable for all - beginners and more experienced creatives alike.
+ Can I access the course via phone or iPad?
Yes!
+ Can I download the videos?
No but you have lifetime access to them so you can watch them as many times as you like!
+ Are the materials safe?
The materials can be hazardous if not used properly. Please read the safety instructions on any art supplies you decide to use before you begin your painting practice. This is particularly important if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You can of course choose to wear gloves while painting.
+ How long will I have access to this course?
You have lifetime access to the course.
+ Can I contact other members also taking this course?
Yes. You will have access to the private Facebook Group where you can connect and share your experiences as well as your artwork with like-minded souls. This platform will remain open indefinitely (as long as Facebook is still up and running!)

+ Do I need a high speed internet connection to view the course videos?
Yes. The videos are in fact a significant learning aspect in this course. We are not able to provide alternative viewing options for customers with slow internet connections. So please make sure your internet connections are up to speed before enrolling in this course.
