Some weeks the studio wins and Instagram waits. This was one of them. So here’s a proper look at a few of the paintings up close, the ones that don’t quite come through in a single framed shot.

Before the frames.

This is what Athar looked like on my studio table - paint, paper, and script, before any of it went to Jacaranda @jacaranda.images . There’s something about seeing them like this, that I wanted to keep.

Paint, paper, and script layered until the surface holds more than it shows. Details like this rarely make it into the full view - worth pausing on.

This one’s Munajat - the whispered conversation, alone in the night.
